Rhonda Koropatwa, MSW, RSW

Rhonda is a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with her MSW from Wilfrid Laurier University. She also has an M.S. in Counselling and a B.A. in Psychology. Rhonda strives to offer a space where clients will feel safe, respected and understood so that they can start to transform their own story of heartache or struggle, into personal growth and resilience. She understands the courage it takes to open up and share the pain within, having experienced her own growth and healing in individual counselling.

Having worked as a career counselor and settlement worker for many years, she has a heightened sensitivity and awareness of the challenges that newcomers to Canada face. She is committed to a culturally sensitive approach in which clients feel heard and their cultural values are respected. As Co-Director of Fusion Toronto Community Services, she has also developed holistic programs for children and teens that have focused on their educational and recreational needs.

Hannah Jarvis, B.Ed

Hannah has always had a passion to see children learn in engaging ways and to support them in their growth. Hannah received her Bachelor of Education (Elementary) in 2010. She supply taught in a variety of grade levels, before teaching for many years in an early childhood classroom (4-5 year olds) that was part of the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Education. Hannah offers tutoring, piano lessons, and a nature club on Saturday afternoons to children in the Rexdale area.

As part of the leadership team with Fusion Toronto Community Services for the last 4 years, Hannah has helped organize and run sports and science camps for children 6 to 13 years old each summer. Hannah’s love for outdoor education allowed us to easily adapt our camps to foster nature lovers and for children and youth to experience the multiple benefits of being out in nature.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys running on the Humber trail or reading a book with a cup of tea near the fireplace.
